Any posts that have to do with TeknoMW3/Lower versions of the like will be removed immediately.

Since most threads are being spammed with help & crash problems, I've decided to create this.

Notice: This thread is for the addon only and not plugins.
Post in the plugin's thread otherwise.

- Posting a bug
You need to post information about it, not it just 'crashes on startup' or along those lines.

For example (these are not all required):

Have you tried making sure everything is up-to-date?

Are there any crash logs/dumps? If so, post them (on pastebin)

Do you know when or where this occurs?

Do you know how to solve this?

Have you tried removing all of your plugins?

Is your server running on Linux or Windows?

Can you reproduce the error? If so, how?

and anything else you can come up with can be posted & used.
Failure to follow any of these guidelines will end up with your post being ignored.

Can't boot the server since updating the MW3 server files and updating the addon.

Completely removed the addon system and replaced it with fresh files, no difference.
No plugins or anything running.
Event Viewer suggests its the d3d9.dll file failing.

Server file wont even launch so not creating any dump files.

Any ideas?

Everything is up to date MW3 and Your Server Tool

The Server crashes just after the map loads.

It still crashes when I remove the plugins. When I do try to run with plugins, they do not attempt to load.

@WW_Orion your d3d9.dll might be corrupted or something, redownload the ZIP file.

Use that if you have to, my server loads the map & map_rotate fine (+ I'm connected to the server too)

Everything is working fine on my end. I don't understand why people keep getting these errors.

Thanks, the addon.dll works to load the map but it still does not load the plugins.


EDIT: The server crashed after a couple of minutes, when someone tried to join.


It must be something in the MW3 update today.

That has been fixed it seems, download the newest DLL from http://cod6hmod.itshax.com/mw3_addon/dow...=addon.dll

Server now starts and i can join it, but it crashes while someone else tries to connect to it (players > 1).

Error occured on iw5mp_server.exe (server). Nothing interesting from logs.

Sometimes it crashes before someone try to join, stucking console at "Loading succeeded for DSR"

No plugins. Server up to date.

P.S. Our other servers without addon are working, so i don't think it's an iw bug

Plugins I was using:
Permission
FOV
Warn & Status
Rules
SpeedPlugin

Removed all plugins. Server worked fine. By putting them back
one at a time, turns out it was the SpeedPlugin causing the problem.

Removed it until it can be updated to work with the latest patched version.

All is good again. Well, almost. Can't jump high anymore

Fixed [use updated DLL]. Plugin command redirection was doing more harm to the server than good and now it's removed.

@slager are you sure you redownloaded ALL files (the most recent ones) they have changed alot in the past few hours.

I seem to be having quite an odd issue,
The server crashes if i connect to the server, disconnect, and immediately reconnect

Have you tried making sure everything is up-to-date?
Yes, removed and reinstalled everything before updating to the 1.200 version
Are there any crash logs/dumps? If so, post them (on pastebin)
No, no trace of the servers crash is left in the logs. The disconnect is logged, but no connect is logged
Do you know when or where this occurs?
See above. It crashes on the connecting screen in MW3, so i never reach the mapload screen

Yes, as i said, this was seen with a blank start of the server.
I recopied the original config files of the server and the addons in case this would help, it didn't

Also tried turning off message rolling and ranked server but that didn't help either. Finally, this happens every time i do this, no exception.
I'll try poking around more, will update this post if i find anything interesting

Edit: Forgot to mention that i have the updated dll, Am running on windows, and have the updated server files
