Dedid servers and the DLC

Yeah i know it's early, but how the heck do you get the DLC on a dedi server?

Iv'e updated them but obviously no dlc.

Im gonna guess that you need the dlc files and run your server with those files in the correct place.
I should say you ca pirate them soon.
However, might get VAC banned.

In the end it was pretty simple really, just copying the dlc folder doesn't work, i tested this first on an external HDD where i run my test server from.

Ok just copy the DLC maps and the .sdm file in main.

meh my main files are all nulled atm (total server filesize 1.4GB)

maybe later ill give it a go but im not copying the entire friggin main folder lol

In the end it was pretty simple really, just copying the dlc folder doesn't work, i tested this first on an external HDD where i run my test server from.

It takes some time as you have to copy not only the dlc folder but most of the rest of it as well, not including the player2 folder obviously. This also fixes the file error problem when players connect to your server as well.

I had them running for a day then took them off after all that, it was kicking 80% of the players each time. I will either wait a while or not even bother as alot of my regular players don't even like them now they have them.

You need to upload those files that are a different size.

main

okay, what about just the files in zone and main that were updated. if you sort them by date you can see easily which ones. And there are alot.
I wonder if its worth it too.

BTW how do you put them in the rotation? Same as the other ones
ex; mp_overwatch,FFA_default,1
