lolled. But well, kills do not win dota. Also apart from you and nyx - players in your team were far from being good.

Prefer League of Legends although I think both games have some champs/heroes with retarded skillsets.
What keeps me from DOTA is mainly the turning speeds, that you gotta walk all the way back to base, especially with such a large map, and that nobody not even my steam friends who play DOTA2 will answer my questions if there's something in the game I can't figure out. And my classmates all play LoL and won't touch DOTA2 either so there's that.
I did manage to go 27-3-11 in a game with Viper once though.

I played it once in the beta. Had no ffing clue how anything at all was supposed to work. The Help tab just did nothing (you clicked, nothing happened) and people were unwilling to help -> uninstall.

Dota is very hard but it is rewarding as well

Generally, you don't go back to base at all. You use the courier to send you tangos/healing pots. And if you really have to go back, you buy a tp scroll to tp back to the lane (so you get the same down time as in LoL)

The community isn't very good, but I guess it's about the same as HoN or LoL.

I don't have many friends that play dota either Sad everyone plays LoL as well.

@SuperNovaAO they added a few tutorials, but you probably still need external resources to get better. Sad

About the community - just avoid Russian and East Europe servers and you'll be fine.

@Pozzuh I know there is no DO THAT in dota and everyone has his own way to play, but imo tp scrolls are not best solution. They are only good in early game, in mid and late boots are much better since they give you attribute bonuses and tp scroll can simply be lost if someone interrupts your channeling. I'm not judging you and I am 100% sure you knew that, just telling my opinion.

Uhm? You always get boots, and you literally always need to carry a tp scroll.

Don't want to argue or anything, just saying that I do not ALWAYS carry a tp scroll with me.
